Right, off to listen to the podcast and then I’ll try to come back with something more intelligent.
— andrew 657 days ago #I like working at cafes. The ambient white noise keeps me focused and productive.
— Geoff 657 days ago #Regarding a decent Python (64-bit 2.4.4, also great for TurboGears), I just came across this blog entry today, and went ahead and installed it:
http://blogs.sun.com/levon/entry/64-bit_python_in_nevada_buildThe dependencies weren’t all that bad, just SUNWPython, SUNWTcl, SUNWTk, and one more that was from XWindow linked libraries. Nothing heavier than that on my fairly minimal system. (ymmv, of course… now that I think of it, another install I tried to do brought in a few other X things.)
