We had a visitor at Joyeur HQ yesterday. We were told by our visitor that Apple is coming out with a new device early next year, and that it’s going to be called “Newton 2”.
We then all had fun trying to get an old Newton MP2100 to recognize the word “facebook”. I think the best effort on my, admittedly poor, cursive was “forelorn”.

Don’t tease about this kind of stuff. My MP2100 has the jaggies and I have been waiting for a new version for a decade.

I have a fully functioning MP2000 I’d be happy to let go, while you’re waiting for Newton 2. Seems really unlikely that we’ll see a new Newton, regardless of Ink in OS X and the iPhone and iPod Touch hinting at that move.
