Running Glassfish on Joyent

Joyent is the ideal cloud computing platform for running Sun’s brilliant Glassfish server. Why? Because, on Joyent, you can run Glassfish at 64-bit straight out of the box.

Today, Kent Langley threw together a quick wiki page entitled How to Install GlassFish on Joyent Accelerator to help you get up and running.

Just curious – can I run Glassfish on a shared accelerator?

You may be able to get it to run but it would likely be pretty resource constrained in production. Glassfish is resource intensive just by itself. I really would recommend 1 GiB and up for that server.
