@Thomas getting the new template is as simple as putting in a support ticket and ask for wipe/install which is the setup fee for your sized accelerator. You get the option to keep both accelerators for two weeks to move your data over (which means your new accelerator will get a new IP) or back things up locally and get the same IP on the new accelerator. email support AT joyent DOT com

Thomas, check out the forums, in particular this post , for info on what you can do with your lifetime accelerator. I’m excited about these updates… but especially, it’s nice to have Kent’s narration of the process. Having a good product is just a part of the puzzle. Broadcasting your progress, and making it clear you’re sweating the details (“MySQL slow query log on by default”!) …all that helps make us feel more confident about hosting here. Kudos!

So… how do I get it because I’m an early accelerator user and I’ve been “this close” to going elsewhere because of my frustration doing simple things (like Phusion or Merb).

I’ve pre-paid for a couple years though, what are my options?
